Full Circle Obedience School
All About Us

Full Circle Obedience school
opened April 3, 1990 with the mission of helping dog
owners build good relationships with their companions
through correct structure
and communication. With the
support and referrals from Oklahoma City veterinarians
classes soared from 2 classes per week with
3 and 4 dogs
to classes 6 days a week. Full Circle instructors are currently helping owners train over
1000 dogs per year through group classes and private
lessons six days a week.
We have found our professional, and positive
reinforcement based classes to be the key to happy dogs and happy
owners. We don’t just teach obedience mechanics, but
instead help owners better understand dog behavior. Full
Circle Obedience School training emphasizes that the
proper relationship is the most important part of
training; first being a leader in whom your dog can
trust, then building cooperation through useful and easy
to comprehend obedience exercises.
Full Circle Obedience School dogs have become above all,
beloved companions, therapy dogs, competition obedience
and agility dogs, dogs with tracking titles,
conformation championships, Schutzhund titled dogs,
flyball dogs, herding dogs, racing dogs, field trial
dogs and freestyle dancing dogs.
Full Circle Obedience School classes are one hour in length. You will attend one
class per week for six weeks, and you will attend each
class with your dog. The fee for the class is $110.00.
The $110.00 class fee includes approximately thirty
dollars worth of training materials including:
A good quality leather leash
A training collar
Complete instruction manual
We are aware of less expensive classes available for
those who want to train in chairs in the middle of a
busy retail store, or through various volunteer clubs.
You wouldn’t send a child to school in the middle of a
department store so you cannot expect a dog to learn
much in a busy retail setting either.
The differences in our classes are numerous:
We have certified instructors.
We have a facility used ONLY for obedience.
We give each dog approximately $30.00 worth of high
quality training equipment.
We provide owners with detailed reading information
regarding each obedience lesson and remedies
for home behavior problems.
The cheaper programs do not provide any of these things.
In obedience training, as with all things, you get what
you pay for. You could waste your time with inferior
training, but why not get it done right the first time?
Full Circle Obedience School has instructors who are
tested and endorsed by the National Association of Dog
Obedience Instructors (NADOI), and are active
participants in obedience competition,
seminars/workshops, and teach other educational programs
to children and adults.
I have taken several of my dogs through training at Full Circle from puppy class up to advanced obedience training. I have always gained new knowledge and training techniques with each dog. Some being more of a challenge than others!
Kaylan has been a certified evaluator with Therapy Dogs International, Inc. for years. Many students have come through her therapy dog class and become TDI certified dog/handler teams and volunteered countless hours in the OKC metro community.
Thanks for being there all these years and helping me with each dog that I've owned and trained, whether in competition obedience, basic obedience or therapy dog work.
