Our mission at Full
Circle Obedience School is to help dog owners build good
relationships with their companions through correct
structure and communication. We teach you how to train
your dog to respond to the first command even when
distracted! Our professional, and positive based classes
are the key to happy dogs and happy owners. We use
motivational techniques balanced with fair corrections
that encourage the utmost in willingness from your dog.
Full Circle Obedience School offers the following
classes:
Puppy - This is excellent foundation and
socialization for all dogs whether they will be
well-behaved pets, shown in conformation, exhibited in
obedience, or used for hunting or herding. Puppy Classes
also help prevent problem fearfulness and aggression. It
is best to start puppies as soon as possible. The Full
Circle Obedience School Puppy Class is for puppies aged
from 9 weeks to 6 months old. Tiny breeds may attend
puppy class up to 1 year of age. Large breeds that are 5
months of age or over at the time of enrollment should
not enroll in puppy class. They should be enrolled in a
Basic Obedience and Home Manners class.
Basic Obedience and Home Manners - Does your dog
drag you on your walks? Does she dash out the front door
and flatten guests, or run away when you call him? Does
he still bite your hands or clothes in play? Is she
inconsistent in responding to simple commands in public?
Then you need this class. The Basic Obedience and Home
Manners class is for dogs 6 months of age and over
(large breed puppies 5 months or older).
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) - If your dog needs
distraction training, or if you would like your dog to
be able to participate in visiting hospitals, schools,
or nursing facilities, then your dog will benefit from
the challenge of our Canine Good Citizen Class. The
Canine Good Citizen Class is a moderately advanced class
for the dog who has had previous group classes.
Therapy Dog Training (TDI) - To qualify as a
Therapy Dog International ® (TDI) Therapy Dog your dog
must pass the
Canine Good Citizen Test and additional TDI test
requirements. For more information go to the
Therapy Dog International (TDI) page.
